Well, folks.....
Changes are afoot.
After some three years, Serena and I are parting company. Well not completely since I will be doing some work for them. It has been quite a time. Lots of training, lots of marketting events. I spent quite a bit of time on a corporate wide quality initiative. At this point the Serena direction and where I want to go are not completely aligned. So we have taken this step. I wish the fine people at Serena the best.
It is now time for me to look forward to next....??? Next what? Times like this are a bit scary. The future is unknown. And there appears to be lots of possibilities.
As of this time I am activating Agile Action, my business arm. While I am entertaining regular employment possibilities, my guess is that I will remain on my own. To see what that means you can visit www.agile-action.com for an overview. The past is clear on that site and the Future is 'Under Construction'. Isn't that how things always are!
I am particulary interested in the intersection of Agile, Lean and Domain Driven Design. Adoption of agile techniques has accelerated development which has magnified the issue of what we are developing. Using the latest techniques of DDD along with BDD is an intriguing approach.
